SXSW is one of my favorite conferences for meeting with friends from all kinds of backgrounds. This time I was honored to be able to speak about the release of my Sci-Fi novel, Roo’d. People seemed very keen on how I’d released it under a Creative Commons License, and I got a couple folks who came up afterwards to tell me they’d read it and wanted another – which is pretty much the best feedback any author could ask for. 🙂
