Yes, there’s ping-pong tables and free soda, but more than that was a huge group of extremely motivated individuals who loved what they did. It’s always fun to present to an audience with a sense of humor, and that was definitely the case here. You’d think that one of the most influential organizations on emerging social structure and interaction might have some self-obsessed folks in it, but that was certainly not what I experienced. Humility, a willingness to laugh at themselves, and a sincere desire to make the world a better place were the hallmarks. It was a blast.
